Limitless
Limitless
Ok today it’s time for a movie review !
just caught a screening of “Limitless” starring Bradley Cooper, and let me tell you, I’ve got mixed feelings about this flick.
the concept is killer : this pill that unlocks the full potential of your brain? Sign me up! The whole idea of accessing every bit of your mind’s power is mind-blowing (pun intended).
Bradley Cooper nailed his role, no doubt about it. His transformation from struggling writer to genius-on-steroids was captivating. The charisma he brought to the character was on point.
But here’s the deal – the movie starts off strong, building this aura of limitless possibilities (again, pun intended). However, as the plot thickens, it sort of fizzles out. The narrative felt rushed at times, leaving me wanting more depth and development.
Sure, the visuals were slick, and the concept was intriguing, but it felt like they missed the mark in exploring the ethical and moral dilemmas that come with such power. It left me hanging, wanting a deeper dive into the consequences of such a mind-altering drug.
Don’t get me wrong, there were some gripping moments, and the pacing kept things moving. It’s just that the potential for a more profound exploration of the concept seemed untapped.
Overall, “Limitless” had its high points, especially with Cooper’s performance, but it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied, like it barely scratched the surface of what it could’ve been. It’s a decent watch for the concept alone, but I was left craving a bit more substance.
